In order to adapt to external and internal pressures, organisations are often required to make changes to their structure and/or operations. Depending on the circumstances, such changes may mean positions are made redundant or need to be restructured.
Unfortunately, redundancies and restructures are not risk free actions. Employers need to be confident that positions they make redundant or wish to restructure are selected appropriately, and that their process meets any legal requirements.
