This course will provide knowledge and skills for the day-to-day supervision and team leading of staff. It includes examples and case studies that participants can adapt back in their own workplace.

Supervisors, team leaders, Frontline Managers and those who have responsibility for the work of others.

  • Understanding effective and ineffective performance
  • Managing yourself to manage others
  • Managing the day-to-day performance of the team
  • Managing the difficult team member
  • Resolving personality clashes, resolving conflicts and handling difficult situations

  • Working with the manager

Award

A Certificate of Attendance will be issued at the completion of the course. A Nationally Accredited Statement of Attainment will be issued to those who successfully complete the workplace based project as part of Certificate IV in Frontline Management or Certificate IV in Human Resources or Diploma of Management.

Learning Outcomes
