This one day course will provide knowledge and skills to effectively manage changes in work systems, structures and demands. It includes examples and case studies that participants can adapt back in their own workplace.

- Change and the individual - resistance to, and acceptance of, change
- Managing the individual during a period of and following change
- Managing the team during a period of and following change
- Planning for change and continuous improvement
- Review and hypothetical case studies
Award
A Certificate of Attendance will be issued at the completion of the course.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of the course participants should be able to:
- Identify the effects of change on indoviduals and the team
- Explain how positive and negative attitudes to change can develop
- Develop methods to enhance the positive aspects of change and overcome the negative
- Communicate with team members to assist the process of change
- Manage work re-design and job changes to cope with the impact of change
- Use work systems to facilitate new standards, policies and procedures
- Develop a strategy for continuous improvement
- Understand the impact on the culture of the team when facilitating effective change
- Work with clear strategies to assist individuals and teams manage change effectively
