The manage remuneration and employee benefits course is a unit of competency (BSBHRM505A) in the nationally recognised Diploma of Human Resources Management. The course is designed for those engaged in an organisation’s remuneration and employee benefits systems or strategy.The course is based on the management and operation of an organisation’s total remuneration system and the strategies on which it is based. Remuneration and employee benefits are a critical component of human resources management and has a vital impact on organisational performance and culture. Employers in both public and private sectors needs a system which does not stifle motivation and productivity. At the same time the impact of finances, the law, confidentiality and market forces all need to be considered by the organisation.Human resources practitioners need to implement policies and strategies for different occupational groups and circumstances as well as ensure consistency and equality.Individual and group feedback will be utilised to ensure that all forms of salary packaging and employee benefits are explored..
