Managers and supervisors are an essential link between OHS strategic direction and operational implementation. This workplace training package is relevant to managers and supervisors in a range of industries.

This course facilitates the development of contemporary knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to enable managers and supervisors to implement a risk management approach to their organisation’s OHS and Injury Management program. Learning Outcomes

On completion of this course participants should be able to: 

• Identify the main provisions of the legislation governing health and safety in the workplace
• Describe how the day-to-day aspects of an organisation’s OHS program can be managed within the OHS systems approach used by the organisation
• Apply an audit system to identify problems and implement an effective OHS management system
