Certificate IV in Frontline Management BSB40812

Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders, those aspiring to management positions and managers wishing to enhance their level of competency.
Certificate IV in Frontline Management comprises of 10 Units: 4 Core Units and 6 Elective Units.
Learning occurs both off-the-job and on-the-job. There are workplace-based projects and assignments that participants complete in their own time. Participants are expected to apply in the workplace what they learn in the course and to be able to demonstrate they meet the competency standards through assessment.
At the completion of the program participants should be able to:
- Apply management principles that are able to increase productivity at the operational level
- Translate management concepts into workplace action plans
- Improve workplace safety
- Improve team performance and facilitate change
Certificate IV in Frontline Management will be awarded to those who successfully complete 10 Units: 4 Core Units and 6 of the Elective Units and complete assessment projects to meet the requirements at AQF Level 4.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Some training course participants may apply for recognition of competencies (skills and knowledge) that they already possess for the whole course or any part. Participants who receive RPL need not undertake the respective course. Where RPL is granted, the participant is given full equivalent status as participants who successfully complete the course.
