The OHS Act 2000 and the OHS Regulation 2001 requires that every workplace be safe from hazards and risk to health, safety and welfare of employees and anyone else who comes into the workplace.
This onus is complex and makes it imperative that every business-owner, manager and supervisor understands what is required to meet the obligations and are pro-active in eliminating and controlling hazards and risks.
The NSW OHS Act requires employers to ensure the health, safety and welfare of their employees at work, and that of any other person at the workplace. The aim of this course is to give managers and supervisors an understanding of their duties and obligations for OHS.

Award
A certificate of attendance will be issued at the completion of the course. A nationally accredited statement of attainment will be issued to those who successfully complete the workplace based project as part of Certificate IV in Frontline Management or Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety or Diploma of Management or Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety.
