FATIGUE AWARENESS TRAINING
This course is aimed at providing relevant training and awareness to employees and managers in the pursuit of sound and practical methods to best manage fatigue in the workplace.
It is designed to assist individuals and organisations implement effective techniques in the management of fatigue. The outcome is geared at generating awareness in staff on the job to prevent incidents due to fatigue and developing strategies to reduce risk.

- The causes and effect of fatigue
- Identifying personal signs of fatigue
- Taking personal action and responsibility

Award
A Certificate of Attendance will be issued at the completion of the course.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of the course participants should be able to:
- Understand the OHS legislation as it relates to their industry in respect of fatigue
- Identify and apply personal strategies for dealing with fatigue in the workplace
- Understand the need for workplace systems and strategies to manage fatigue effectively
- Understand the relationship between the body and fatigue management
- Participate in risk identification and risk assessment with applied knowledge of control measures
