True Leadership in the Workplace

 

Overview

Participants will obtain knowledge and skills required to work effectively with teams and individuals and to influence others in the workplace. The course will develop the leadership skills for people who manage and work with others. Skills in making effective decisions are also developed as well as self awareness.

 

Who should attend

Managers, team leaders and other people in the workplace who have leadership responsibilities.  The course will benefit all staff in leadership roles or preparing for leadership responsibilities.

Learning Outcomes

On completion, participants should be able to:

  • Explain the features of leadership
  • Ensure management performance and behaviour meets the organisation's requirements
  • Implement performance plans in accordance with the organisation's objectives
  • Use organisation standards and values in conducting business
  • Ensure personal performance contributes to the organisation's image, i.e. role model
  • Facilitate and train individuals and team participation in decision making
  • Ensure decisions are timely and utilise communication feedback

A Certificate of Attendance will be issued at the completion of the course.
